iOS 6 Update

The iOS 6 software update has finally been released in Singapore! I was like freaking out when I saw the update. Took a while though.

So basically, I took some screenshots:

While downloading the new software

This is what it will look like after iOS 6 have been downloaded and when your iPhone has been restarted for the software update

Next Screen

After logging into your iTunes account:

The new Passbook App that comes with the iOS 6 update is one of the coolest apps ever!

They have re-designed the App Store which looks pretty good.

Pictures from your photo album can be uploaded directly to your social networks

Added "Do Not Disturb" and "Privacy" options which could be useful haha

 Tried out the Panoramic function:

This is what I managed to get, cause I was standing inside a room and had only one window. But still is pretty cool.

Directly post or tweet using this:

This is one cool function when you cannot pick up the phone. (I know, my background is damn cute hahaha)

Even so, as most Apple fanatics do, I still wanna get the new iPhone 5 with it's higher performance and extra app space (LOL).

Good Day

The appointment booking list was finally opened today at 10pm. Spammed the retry button because the traffic at the site was just too high. But after like 15 minutes of persistent clicking, I was finally able to make an appointment. I was sooooo excited. My dad made an appointment for a black 32GB iPhone 5. Lucky him because I think he took the last one. When I made an appointment for that same black model, they told me it was out of stock so I went for the 32GB white model. Luckily they still had stock. Because I went to the Singtel Facebook Page and realised that people were complaining that BOTH the Black and White 32GB models were out of stalk already. And I only made the appointment for the white one like 2 minutes ago. Even the 64GB iphones for both black and white were already sold out. What was left were the 16GB ones. Thank God. Seriously. I was praying damn hard that I would get into the site for the appointment booking. Ok that's all for now. To all those who managed to make an appointment, good job. To those who didn't, try again next time :)

Oh yeah, you can also try and see if they have any stock by going down to the event to buy if I'm not wrong.

The event is at: Marina Bay Sands Exhibition Hall D, B2.

Found some prices from a website. Not sure if its correct but it should be :)

So basically for those people who want it straight away, you would have to pay more for the phone than after Nov 08 as stated in the picture. So it's up to you when to buy it ^_^

iPhone 5

The iPhone 5 has finally arrived!! It's gonna be released on 21st September along with iOS 6! Really excited about it. Gonna save up money to buy it.

The new iPhone 5 is lighter, longer and thinner. The increase in length will allow one more row of apps to fit in so there is less flipping of pages to look for those apps! iPhone 5 features the new Lighting connector that is smaller than the previous connector. Plus it's reversible so either way you plug in, it will fit. One of the best things I love about the new iPhone 5 is it's ability to do panorama pictures. Plus it has video stabilization, video face detections to up to 10 faces and the ability to take still photos as you record! How cool is that?! Besides that, the new iOS 6 comes with a new app called "Passbook" where you can have your plane tickets, movie tickets, discount coupons, all in one app. The map function now has a Flyover view and it also works as a GPS. Siri will come with new functions for easier searching. Photos inside the photo album can be shared immediately shared onto Facebook or Twitter. It's A5 chip has been replaced with the new A6 chip for better performance.

Besides that, Apple has also released a new set or earphones called the "Earpods" which would fit perfectly into anyone's ear. It has be redesigned to give better sound quality and is already on sale in Apple stores. However they also come free with purchases of iPhones and iPods.

iPod touch 7th generation has also been released with 7 colors and is also lighter, longer and thinner than it's previous version. It's A4 chip has been replaced with the A5 chip which would improve its performance. Besides that, they have also released the  iPod Nano 7th generation, also with a new design. They have included the videos function back into it.

iTunes and the App Store's interface have been redesigned for easier access along with the release of iOS 6.

Really can't wait to get myself an iPhone 5. For more information on the new iPhone 5, visit http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2012/09/12Apple-Introduces-iPhone-5.html

Or www.apple.com where there are videos on the new Apple Products being released.
P.S. It's almost 2 hours long.

Back from abroad

Hey guys! I just realized how long it was since my last post. I went to Seoul, Korea from 1st-8th September. It was AWESOME!! There was so much food and lots of shopping. I swear, a lot of the clothing are damn cheap if you go to the right places. Put on weight there. /sigh. Not going to post any photos of the trip yet because I'm a little short of time now. So I'm gonna make this post short and sweet.

These few days, I've been trying to find a temporary job before my next semester starts in like 3-4 weeks time. I checked CATS Classified and went to RecruitExpress' website. I was trying to find something that was more related to my diploma like Data Entry or Admin Assistant. I went for an interview with one of the agents from Recruit Express in Ngee Ann City on Monday. The agent told me that it was hard to find me a job as an admin asst in such a short notice. She actually told me that maybe I should try out telemarketing, but seriously don't wanna go into telemarketing. It's not like I got anything against that job. It's just that I would prefer something that allows me to "sit in front of a computer". So it has been a few days for the agent to contact me about whether she was able to find a job that meets my requirements. I want to start work by next week so if I really cannot find a job as an data entry or admin asst, I wouldn't mind finding a job in retail. Just need experience and something extra to place into my resume.

Didn't go to Jolene's house last Sunday because we just reached Singapore the day before. My parents asked me to compile all the photos that we have taken during the Seoul trip into a slideshow with music. I've completed it like 2 days ago. Took about 1-3 days to complete it since I had to compile, filter, rearrange and add music to it. It was my first time doing it so it took me a while to figure it out. At first I thought that it was only possible to do it through Adobe but I discovered that iPhoto in the iMac does the job pretty well. Simple functions, just add photos and drag to rearrange the positions of the photos.

Jolene and Jacelyn aren't going to be home this Sunday and I can't go to their house on Saturday because my family is going to celebrate my aunt's birthday. However, I think I overheard my mom talking on the phone that we will still go to their house on Sunday because we bought moon cakes and we had to deliver to them by this week. So yay but I don't think they will be able to see the picture slideshows yet.

These few days, my appetite has been pretty big. So gotta restrain a bit. Yesterday at Spaghetti Bolognese, Satay, Mushroom Soup and Dessert Buffet for dinner at Latitude, One Degree 15 Marina. Damn a lot. If I knew there was dessert buffet, I wouldn't have eaten so much. Like there was so many different types of desserts including cakes, puddings, fresh fruits, etc. I took Mango Pudding with fresh fruits, Breading Pudding with Vanilla Sauce, Blackforest Cake and a slice of apple tart. See what I mean? That's a LOT! Felt bloated all the way till I reached home.

Ok I just realized that this isn't short and sweet and it's rather long... Anyway, it's because I got so much to say since I got back huh, so can't blame me :P Ok I think I will stop here for now and hopefully I will have another post up on this blog really soon. And I mean REALLY SOON!
