Back from abroad

Hey guys! I just realized how long it was since my last post. I went to Seoul, Korea from 1st-8th September. It was AWESOME!! There was so much food and lots of shopping. I swear, a lot of the clothing are damn cheap if you go to the right places. Put on weight there. /sigh. Not going to post any photos of the trip yet because I'm a little short of time now. So I'm gonna make this post short and sweet.

These few days, I've been trying to find a temporary job before my next semester starts in like 3-4 weeks time. I checked CATS Classified and went to RecruitExpress' website. I was trying to find something that was more related to my diploma like Data Entry or Admin Assistant. I went for an interview with one of the agents from Recruit Express in Ngee Ann City on Monday. The agent told me that it was hard to find me a job as an admin asst in such a short notice. She actually told me that maybe I should try out telemarketing, but seriously don't wanna go into telemarketing. It's not like I got anything against that job. It's just that I would prefer something that allows me to "sit in front of a computer". So it has been a few days for the agent to contact me about whether she was able to find a job that meets my requirements. I want to start work by next week so if I really cannot find a job as an data entry or admin asst, I wouldn't mind finding a job in retail. Just need experience and something extra to place into my resume.

Didn't go to Jolene's house last Sunday because we just reached Singapore the day before. My parents asked me to compile all the photos that we have taken during the Seoul trip into a slideshow with music. I've completed it like 2 days ago. Took about 1-3 days to complete it since I had to compile, filter, rearrange and add music to it. It was my first time doing it so it took me a while to figure it out. At first I thought that it was only possible to do it through Adobe but I discovered that iPhoto in the iMac does the job pretty well. Simple functions, just add photos and drag to rearrange the positions of the photos.

Jolene and Jacelyn aren't going to be home this Sunday and I can't go to their house on Saturday because my family is going to celebrate my aunt's birthday. However, I think I overheard my mom talking on the phone that we will still go to their house on Sunday because we bought moon cakes and we had to deliver to them by this week. So yay but I don't think they will be able to see the picture slideshows yet.

These few days, my appetite has been pretty big. So gotta restrain a bit. Yesterday at Spaghetti Bolognese, Satay, Mushroom Soup and Dessert Buffet for dinner at Latitude, One Degree 15 Marina. Damn a lot. If I knew there was dessert buffet, I wouldn't have eaten so much. Like there was so many different types of desserts including cakes, puddings, fresh fruits, etc. I took Mango Pudding with fresh fruits, Breading Pudding with Vanilla Sauce, Blackforest Cake and a slice of apple tart. See what I mean? That's a LOT! Felt bloated all the way till I reached home.

Ok I just realized that this isn't short and sweet and it's rather long... Anyway, it's because I got so much to say since I got back huh, so can't blame me :P Ok I think I will stop here for now and hopefully I will have another post up on this blog really soon. And I mean REALLY SOON!
